‘Heroes’ Scribe Jerry Bruckheimer to Pilot a Drama for CBS

CBS has ordered to pilot a law enforcement drama whose protagonist would be a female. This drama will be pilot by the scribes of Heroes Aron Eli Coleite and Jerry Bruckheimer.

The title of this new drama has been chosen as Trooper and it hails from Warner Bros. Television. This new drama’s storyline revolves around a common-sense mother that turns to New York state trooper.

Aron Eli Coleite will be writing the script for the drama while she will also take responsibility as the executive producer of the project along with Bruckheimer and Jonathan Littman. On the other hand, KristieAnne Reed has been appointed as the co-executive producer for the new series.

The project would mark the latest project from Bruckheimer Television to land at CBS, where the shingle currently has CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and The Amazing Race.

Trooper joins drama pilots Baby Big Shot and Elementary at the network this development season.
