“Bunheads” pilot released earlier by ABC Family

Amy Sherman-Palladino is coming back with a new show, Bunheads. He is known as the creator of Gilmore Girls. According to news, ABC Family is already previewing the first episode of this upcoming ballet drama.

Such practices are common as numerous cable, including pay channels, and broadcast networking opts to release their pilots of upcoming series to allow viewers the chance to opt to view the most suitable and interesting series.

Tony Award winner Sutton Foster will be acting in this series Bunheads whose story centers on a Las Vegas showgirl who marries a man under impulse and moves to his sleepy coastal town and proves to be an uneasy newcomer at her new mother-in-law’s dance school. The role of mother-in-law will be played by Kelly Bishop.

“I spent 20 years of my life with my hair in a bun. I was supposed to be a dancer,” Sherman-Palladino said last September when the project was given a pilot order. “My mother was a dancer. Her greatest heartbreak was when I got on Roseanne. So, while writing this will never equal playing Rumpelteazer in a bus and truck tour of Cats, it does let me to tip my hat to a really special time in my life.”
