'Once Upon a Time's' Giancarlo Esposito to appear on 'Community' as a Guest Star

When the NBC series Community make its return on the network, Pierce (Chevy Chase) will face someone who knew his father. To make it a little more dramatic, Pierce’s late father is going to haunt him when the series returns from hiatus.

According to a representative for Sony Pictures Television, Giancarlo Esposito will be joining the star cast of ‘Community’ as a guest star. He will be playing the role of Gilbert, a business associate of Pierce’s extremely crabby father. This news was first reported by New York Magazine.

Currently, Giancarlo Esposito is appearing on Once Upon a Time as a crooked reporter Sidney Glass and the Magic Mirror. It was recently discovered that his character was also once the Genie in the lamp.

Fans off Esposito will also remember him as Breaking Bad’s Gus who was significantly able to make the death of his character look both stylish and horrifying at the same time.

This show was benched on the back burner by NBC in last December and the network is yet to announce an official return date. However, the production for the remainder of Season three is still going on.
