'Real Housewives' star Alexis Bellino makes Acting Debut with General Hospital

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Alexis Bellino is often criticized by her co-stars about her correspondent gig for Fox 5 San Diego. However, she proved to be very much believable as a professional news correspondent to the team of ABC.

Alexis is going to make her acting debut on Wednesday, May 9, as she will be playing a role of news anchor in General Hospital of ABC.

“I can’t say the story line,” Alexis said during an interview. “But the news I’m going to give is pretty shocking. So it was interesting to come on here for the first time and be able to deliver that kind of news.” 

But apparently it wasn’t the reality star’s hosting job that landed her the spot on the soap opera set in the fictional city of Port Charles, N.Y.

“The head producer told me it was just because I was good looking,” she says.
