A Split for the Bachelorette Host

As the host of The Bachelor, Chris Harrison has helped many in arranging their love for life. However, now the Bachelor host is facing tumultuous situations of a split with his wife Gwen. Chris Harrison and his wife are married for last 18 years. Recently they announced their intentions for separation “after much heartfelt considerations,” the couple said in an interview.

“Though we have made this incredibly difficult decision to separate, our love and mutual respect remain, and we look forward to sharing in the lives of our wonderful children,” they say in a joint statement on Thursday.

The couple is living within 35 miles from Hollywood with their kids Joshua of age 9, and Taylor of age 7. Harrison is 40 years old and he coaches both of his kids for their soccer team. During an interview in 2010, Gwen said that he is, “an amazing father,” she said, “He’s very loving and involved.”

Harrison hosts the new season of The Bachelorette, which premieres May 14 on ABC.
