America’s Got Talent is about MusicWednesday, July 27, 2011
The Tuesday night’s performance on America’s Got Talent succeeded in impressing the judges who were quite disappointed by the disappointing acts last week. Some of the acts of last week’s show were extreme jump-rope team, a yo-yo act, and a couple who hooked wires to themselves and used those wires to swing household objects from them. However, Tuesday’s musical performances won the heart of judges. One of the highly praised performances was POPLYFE’s rendition of Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep.” The six member group of POPLYFE was praised by Howie Mandel who called their performance as the “best act” of the night “so far,” Sharon Osbourne termed is as “fantastic,” and said, “You’ve got everything going for you.” The group was also complimented by Piers Morgan. However, that was not the best of the Tuesday night as Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. appeared on the stage in a black suit and sang a Frank Sinatra-esque jazz tune. He won the praise from all three judges. Morgan said that he “loved it all,” Mandel commented that Murphy has “what it takes” to enter finale, and Osbourne commented, “America does have talent and it’s standing in front of me now.” Murphy failed to hide his excitement and said, “I’m feeling very overwhelmed right now,” he said at the show’s live taping. “I’m the happiest man on the planet.” After that, it was Lys Agnes’s turn to fire on the stage. Her performance was second-to-last act of the night. She produced a vocal magic with an opera performance and gained a standing ovation. “It moved me,” Osbourne said. Mandel agreed, calling the performance “gorgeous, sexy, and stunning.” Morgan was the lone dissenter. Short link: http://www.platotv.tv/s/9np4m Reply to the topicDelete this Comment? |
