America Ferrera makes a Comeback on TV on The Good Wife

America Ferrera of the Ugly Betty fame is going to appear on TV again but this time, she won’t be ugly anymore.

America Ferrera has decided to join the cast of CBS’s The Good Wife which will be her first role on a television series after the successful experience of Ugly Betty which ended last year.

Ferrera is 26 years old and she has been assigned to appear on The Good Wife in the role of “a potential love interest for Alan Cumming’s character, Eli,” as reported.

She will appear in the episode which will be aired on February 22. She will remain on the show for at least two more episodes. She will be playing the character of a student of DePaul University majoring in economics. She “will play a central role in the political race for State’s Attorney,” the source says.

Along with America Ferrera, Jerry Stiller is also scheduled to appear on the episode of Feb. 22. He will be playing the role of a judge. Gary Cole is also set to appear on the same episode who will return as the love interest of Diane, played by Christine Baranski.
