American Idol is back in action

American Idol is back in air as the season 11 was premiered on Wednesday. The host Ryan Seacrest termed the return of American Idol for its 11th season as “hot streak,” and “one of the best starts we’ve ever had.” Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson returned as judges for the singing competition show and they joined the host in Savannah, Ga., where they met the 42 singers who received golden tickets to Hollywood.

One of the talented singers was Lauren Mink who impressed Jennifer when she sang, “Country Song.” However, there were some horrible singers too like Jessica Whitely, who destroyed “In This Song” by Charice and promised to return to audition in Texas, despite being told she was “awful” by the judges.

The premier was full of typical American Idol antics. One of the contestants was Shaun Kraisman who has a mediocre voice but he looked and sounded exactly like Seacrest. A lot of fun and music went on the premier with a promise for a blasting 11th season of American Idol.
