Bethenny Frankel Talk Show to be premiered in JuneThursday, April 26, 2012
Reality star and entrepreneur Bethenny Frankel will be testing a run of Bethenny, a daily talk show which is expected to be premiered on June 11 on six Fox-owned TV stations. If everything happens as planned, the Fox stations would be launching the new talk show in national syndication during the fall of 2013. The current scheduled test of 2012 is scheduled for six weeks. According to reports, Fox will be testing this one-hour show at stations WNYW New York (11 a.m.), KTTV Los Angeles (2 p.m.), WTFX Philadelphia (11 a.m.), KDFW Dallas (1 p.m.), KSAZ Phoenix (11 a.m.), and KMSP Minneapolis (10 a.m.). Fox Television Stations and Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution had announced plans to test Bethenny this past January, but the details on the stations, time slots and the date it will begin were first revealed Wednesday by Frank Cicha, senior vp programming of Fox Television Stations, and WBDTD president Ken Werner. “The program will feature Bethenny’s no-nonsense perspective on everything from pop culture and current events to relationships, beauty, fitness and lifestyle segments,” according to an announcement. “The program will be an honest, informative and entertaining destination, where daytime viewers can learn, laugh and get inspired.” Last year, Frankel had tried to launch a talk show with others but she failed. With Fox, she is now reviving her idea and it will be a good chance for her to find a new role in her life. Frankel came in limelight when she came as the first runner-up on NBC’s The Apprentice: Martha Stewart. She then got a role on The Real Housewives of New York and then she also won a spin-off series “Bethenny Getting Married? and Bethenny Ever After.” The spin-off is now going on in its third season on Bravo.
