Dancing with the Stars season 12 is scheduled to be aired on ABC in March but this time, Derek Hough will not be there to entertain viewers. The three time winner of the dancing competition show Dancing with the Stars said, “I’m taking season 12 off.” Derek Hough is 25 years old and he has gained immense popularity and demand as a dancing professional. Currently he is busy in shooting for his lead role for Cobu 3D, which is a forthcoming dance movie. The movie is scheduled to be released in New York and Toronto during the upcoming spring.
In March, when the 12th season of Dancing with the Stars will begin, Derek Hough will be working hard to make a mark in the dancing movie. He is going to play a street dancer from New Orleans who visits New York to make a living and get impressed by an Asian drummer. Korean pop star BoA is playing the role of Asian drummer for whom, Derek Hough will fall in love in the movie.
Both of them will compete against each other as they will be casted in rival dance groups. The movie is expected to offer some highly impressive dance numbers. Derek Hough informs, “People will see a much edgier side of me and these other styles of dance I’m capable of doing.”
