Nickelodeon’s annual ceremony is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles on 2nd of April this year. Jack Black is again invited to host the Kid’s Choice Awards. Black hosted the show in 2006 and then in 2008 and now it is the third time that he is invited to host the show again in 2011.
Marjoie Cohn, the executive producer of Kid’s Choice Awards released a statement saying, “Jack Black is the perfect mix of comedy, rock and star-power that will set the tone for an amazing show.” The statement further said, “Jack is always an exciting host because of his unpredictability, incredible comedic timing and ability to connect with our audience.”
There are ample possibilities that Jack black will be caught by the show’s signature ‘sliming.’ And expectations are that Black will also attain the favourite movie actor for his performance in Gulliver’s Travels. Other nominees for the award are Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Kristen Stewart, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift and Robert Downey Jr.
Fan voting for the award decision are going to start online on March 7.
The Kid’s Choice Awards will be broadcasted live by Nickelodeon from the Galen Center in Los Angeles on April 2 at 8p.m.
