Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell to Host Billboard Music Awards

This year, the Billboard Music Awards is set to get a taste of the Dunphys.

As per the reports, Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell, the stars of Modern Family have been signed to host the music awards ceremony for this year. The music awards ceremony will be aired live from Las Vegas on Sunday, May 20, at 8 p.m. on ABC.

“We are thrilled to have television’s favorite Emmy Award winning couple as our hosts for this year’s Billboard Music Awards,” said Richard D. Beckman, CEO of Prometheus Global Media. “Ty and Julie have captured the hearts of America with their on-screen chemistry and humor – and we look forward to having them bring that magic to the Billboard Music Awards.”

Lead nominees of this year are Adele, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Lil Wayne. In addition, Justin Bieber, Carrie Underwood and various other artists are set to perform on the awards ceremony.

Bowen and Burrell won Emmys in 2011 for their roles on the ABC comedy as married couple Claire and Phil Dunphy.
