Ken Jeong Joins Michael Bay's 'Pain and Gain'

Ken Jeong is co-working with Michael Bay for Pain And Gain as he has been signed in to play a major role in Bay’s dark-comedy action thriller for Paramount.

It will be small scale project when compared to Bay’s Transformers movies whose budget went to $200 plus while budget for Pain And Gain is $35 million. This project is based on a true story of body builders in Miami Beach who organized a kidnapping and extortion ring which went awry.

Dwayne Johnson and Mark Wahlberg will be starring in this movie along with Ed Harris, Tony Shaloub, Anthony Mackie and Bar Paly.

While no details about characters have been revealed yet, it has been announced that Kim Jeong will be playing the character named Johnny Wu.

Jeong, known for his scene-stealing work in the Hangover movies, is also part of the ensemble cast of NBC’s Community. He will be front and center in the May 17 episode titled The Chang Dynasty.
