Many Stars to Appear on Drop Dead Diva Season 3

Drop Dead Diva will be returning on Sunday to mark its third season premier. A number of guest stars are expected to help this legal-based dramedy to get a firing season three start.

Protagonist Jane Bingum (played by Brooke Elliott) will again gain the voice of reason by Paula Abdul while LeAnn Rimes will appear as the estranged wife of a reckless Hollywood star. Jane will be defending the husband of Rimes in a hit-and-run case. Famous Talk show host Wendy Williams and Mario Lopez will also appear on the show and the cast will also perform a dance number.

A number of celebrities have already appeared on this show as guest stars and according to an announcement made by Lifetime, season three will also bring a lot of star power on the show. According to resources, Brandy Wanda Sykes, Kathy Griffin, Clay Aiken and Lance Bass have already been scheduled to appear as guest stars.

Currently, Lifetime is rolling out a social media campaign to encourage fans for Sunday’s season premiere. Jackson Hurst will use his Twitter account and the official Twitter account of Drop Dead Diva will also be active throughout the episode.

In 2009, Drop Dead Diva was premiered on Lifetime which tells a story of a model, who meets some supernatural fate and turns into a brilliant, but plus-sized lawyer.
