Mike Sorrentino leaves Rehab

Jersey Shore’s Mike Sorrentino has checked out of the rehab he entered less than one month ago.

The message on Sorrentino’s official website says, “Michael ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino is home and would like to thank his fans, friends, family, and business partners for their continued support and words of encouragement. He is now stronger and better than ever, and excited for this new amazing chapter in his life.”

The official message further says, “With your positive reinforcement and a whole new outlook on life - there are so many great things on the horizon, and
I am sure you will all be excited for the many new projects Sitch has in development.”

Sorrentino’s representatives have also confirmed that the reality TV star checked out of the rehab which he joined after acknowledging a problem with prescription medication.

“I want to set the record straight,” Sorrentino said at the time. “I have voluntarily taken steps to get control of a prescription medication problem I had due to exhaustion. I have spent the past several weeks getting treatment for this problem and recuperating from my work and appearance schedule.”

Jersey Shore will begin filming on the sixth season this summer.
