Naomi Defensor Is Ready for the 25th Season of "The Real World"

One of housemates of MTV’s “The Real World”, Naomi Defensor, revealed that living in the Bronx made her ready to live with strangers. Defensor grew up in a drug and prostitution infested place in the Bronx, which made her become tough. She said that Hunts Point area is famous for its high crime rate and for kids staying away from school because even that is not a safe place for them.
Before “Big Brother” came out, MTV already paved way for reality TV with its longest-running show. This week, “The Real World” returns with the same format, but with different housemates. This show features girls and guys in their 20s and 30s and coming from all walks of life living together in one roof.
Defensor admitted that living in the Bronx has caused her family a lot of trouble such as her mom getting involved with drugs because of the temptations in the neighborhood. Despite the problems she faced when she was younger.
Defensor was able to graduate last year at the Buffalo State College and currently completing a few credits to finally get her degree. She said that she does not have a perfect family, but her two sisters were a good influence to her. Her mom was also there to support her, despite the drug case that her mom got involved in.
Defensor said that living with other college students and being a sorority president helped her deal with different people on the show. She revealed that she had to live up with some crazy roomies just like the one she had when she was a Freshman in college. This girl was so loud and would even steal some of her clothes. She said that it won’t be easy to get along with everyone, but you need to learn to see common ground and treat these people fairly. Defensor usually was the mediator in the new season of the famous MTV reality show.
Viewers are expected to see a lot of drama and craziness in the new season of “The Real World” and including a teaser where Defensor was shown in bed with a housemate saying that she does not want to have sex with him and for him to leave her alone.  She said that what was shown on the trailer was just part of what the viewers would see on the next season. This is not the first time that “Real World” was set up in Las Vegas. The first one was in season 12 and now they brought back the custom-made suite at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on its 25th season. Meet the new housemates of the “The Real World” on March 9.

I have no idea how she can get along with people like that. It's crazy. I wish I were born with that kind of patience and understanding.

A lot of "social experiment" shows popped up over the years. Some are just outrageous. The Real World is one of the best, for me.

Watching The Real World has really made me see why other people are how they are. I've got two more years to go before I get sent out to "the real world" and if I have to deal with crazy difficult people like those in the show, then I'd seriously think about getting another major and staying a couple more years in college...

As if we need any more drama in the world. That show is NOT "the real world". It's a controlled environment set in a glitzy city in a fancy hotel. COME ON.

I guess "good tv" these days means putting together a bunch of lunatics and just wait for them to snap at each other and try to get into each other's pants. What a waste of airtime.

These people may be out of their minds most of the time but they sure are interesting to watch. Not to mention that almost every one is gorgeous.

25th season? Did they already start doing this show even before I was born? That IS a long time. Or is this like the Amazing Race that has like, 2 seasons each year?

A custom-made suite in Hard Rock Cafe and Casino? That is just THE LIFE!!! Wish I could chill in a suite like that even once in my life.

After 25 seasons of "the same format", haven't people gotten bored of it already? No wonder people's brains are getting more zombified by the minute. Change it up, guys!

Seems like the present set of housemates will make really interesting tv. Looking forward to all those fights that Naomi mediates.

Can't wait to go to college in the fall! I'll get to experience more different personalities. It's just gonna be like The Real World!

College can be a very very miniscule slice of the "real world" because you'll have to deal with people from not the same background as yours. But it's not like the real thing at all because people are more concerned about partying than making it.

Why are people talking about college? This is about the show! Not school or the actual world! It's a pastime. Don't take it seriously.

Yeah guys. It's just a show. Everybody knows that "reality shows" doesn't equal "reality" at all. If you so much think as it might, then you either still believe in Santa Claus or you need help.

The girl in the blue dress looks so pretty. I wanna watch this show. It feels good to know that these people are dealing with other crappy people like I have to everyday.

I've heard about this show since I was little and I've never seen it. I should watch MTV more often. Hopefully I'd catch an episode.

Living with different people sounds like fun. If only I were as vivacious or even mildly interesting as one of these people, I'd definitely audition.

Maybe I should join the next season. My life is pretty boring and I do need to be more exposed to people from other walks of life.

I'm loving this season so far! They live in such a fabulous pad! One of the housemates actually looks like my next door neighbor!
