Peri Gilpin to play a role for CSI in a multi-episode Arc

There will a huge number of guest stars appearing in Season 12 finale of CBS’ CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

The popular series has tapped former Frasier star Peri Gilpin who will appear for a multi-episode arc as she will be playing the role of the wife of Ted Danson’s D.B. Russell.

Recently Gilpin also appeared as a guest star as she played the role of a difficult patient on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy. She will now be playing Allison, a woman who grew up as part of a well-established Golden State family who rebelled against her banker father and married the iconoclastic criminalist Russell.

Her role has been described as the keeper of the hearth at home with an easy way about her with an iron will and strong competition for her husband’s intelligence as she not only rules his heart but his life as well.

Gilpin is expected to make her first appearance in the season finale which is being scheduled for Wednesday, May 9 at 10 p.m., and her role will be continued into the 13th season of the CBS drama.
