Sophia Myles may be the new companion of Doctor Who

The show runner of Doctor Who, Steven Moffat just tweeted something that created ripples in the sea of Who fans. It seems that he just revealed the information and identity of the newest companion. Many fans of ‘Doctor Who’ are still mourning for the departure of companions Amy Pond (Karen Gallen) and Rory (Arthur Darvill). Now it seems as if a fan favorite is going to join the cast.

However, it is still not clear nor any thing has been announced about it. But tweet from Steven Moffat suggests something about it.

Right EVERYBODY who follows me, go and follow @SophiaMyles - spin that fireplace. NOW. I’ll explain later. Or not.

Sophia Myles tweeted back: “Watch this (fire)place,” and “The plot thickens…”

Fans may recall, Myles played Mme. Pompadour in “The Girl in the Fireplace,” which is widely touted as one of the show’s best episodes. (We’d also add “The Doctor’s Wife” in there.) While it would be nice to see her back, it is still not sure the famous character would be a full companion.
