The much discussed NBC midseason drama ‘The Cape’ is undergoing difficult times these days with a lower viewers ranking. The series got a decent start at the beginning but recently it is going down in its usual Monday 9 PM position. The last episode of this series that has been inspired by a popular comic The Cape, drew a meager 1.5 rating out of 4 which is a 6% lesser than the lowest ranking for the whole series. The viewers rating signifies that viewers are not enjoying the series and hence, the management of NBC has planned to cut the number of episodes of this comic-book inspired series from 13 to 10. The series show has already completed the production of 10 episodes and hence the decision by NBC to cut the number of episodes to 10 means that there will be no further production.
NBC hasn’t clarified about what show or shows will replace The Cape series. According to some relevant guesses, The Event may make a comeback on the berth period of 9 PM on Mondays. The Event is already scheduled to return on Feb. 28. One of the possible solutions is the possibility of 2 back-to-back new episodes of The Event.
