The Finder gains ratings while Grimm losesMonday, April 23, 2012
In Friday evening’s ratings war, ABC and NBC gained equal points as each drew an average rating of 1.2 apiece among adults 18-49. On the other hand, Fox’s The Finder rebounded three tenths from last week’s series low of 0.9. This Fox series won 4.2 million viewers. However, it lost to a rerun of ABC’s Shark Tank which gained 5.1 million with 1.2 ratings in the time slot of 8:00 PM. NBC’s Who Do You Think You Are? and CW’s Nikita were beaten with 4.2 million, 0.8 and 1.5 million, 0.4 ratings respectively. In the 9:00 PM slot, NBC’s Grimm earned a 1.3 rating, down three tenths from its previous week in adults 18-49, as it drew 4.5 million viewers. Yet again the show won its time slot, opposite ABC Primetime’s What Would You Do? (4.4 million, 1.3), Fox’s Fringe (3.1 million, 1.0), CBS’ CSI: NY (6.2 million, 0.8), and The CW’s Supernatural (1.5 million, 0.6). NBC’s Dateline maintained its lead at 10:00 PM as it drew 5.8 million viewers and a rating of 1.4. In comparison, ABC’s 20/20 gained 4.1 million viewers and a 1.3 rating, while CBS’ Blue Bloods attracted 6.2 million and 0.8 ratings.
