Vanessa Williams to Star in ABC’s 666 Park Avenue

Vanessa Williams is known for her major role in Desperate Housewives. She is the latest in-demand actor who got a call to star for ABC’s 666 Park Avenue.

She has now been added to the cast of ABC’s supernatural-tinged drama pilot.
Vanessa Williams will be playing the role of Olivia, who, with her husband Gavin (whose role is being played by Lost’s Terry O’Quinn), owns the historical luxury apartment building around which the whole story of the drama revolves.
Williams is thus the first of the star cast of Desperate Housewives to get a role in a pilot as Desperate Housewives is inching towards the end of its final series.

In addition, other announced cast for the supernatural pilot of ABC are, Dave Annable (Brothers & Sisters) and Rachael Taylor (Grey’s Anatomy) as marrieds newly signed on to manage the property, and Mercedes Masohn (The Finder) and Robert Buckley (One Tree Hill) as fashion photo Louise and playwright Brian, another couple who lives at the ominous address.
