Chuck is still trying to resolve his feelings over Sarah. Meanwhile, Sarah's best friend Carina returns to town on a mission to get engaged to an arms dealer and penetrate his security system to obtain a high-tech weapon. Chuck tries to talk to Sarah about their relationship, while Morgan tries to restart his imagined relationship with Carina and lies to Jeff and Lester about it.

Shaw sends Chuck on his first solo mission to Paris, ignoring Casey's and Sarah's objections. En route, Chuck meets an attractive woman, Hannah, and flashes on Hugo Panzer, a Ring agent. Shaw reveals that Chuck's mission was to spot Hugo, and tells him to complete the mission. Meanwhile, new assistant manager Morgan asks Casey to help him deal with his rowdy underlings.

Chuck (s03e06). Season 3, Episode 6 - Air Date: 02/01/2010
Chuck tries to balance his two very different lives as he trains a new Nerd Herder, Hannah, and gets his own asset. He thinks he can handle his asset on his own, but Sarah and Casey believe that they need to help Chuck. Meanwhile, Awesome lies to Ellie when she starts asking about Chuck and Morgan; and Jeff and Lester do some searching on Hannah.

Chuck (s03e07). Season 3, Episode 7 - Air Date: 02/08/2010
The team goes after the Mask of Alexander, which is being used by the Ring to smuggle in secret items. Chuck and Hannah end up hired by the curator to main the computer during a reception, while Daniel and Sarah go in to get the mask. When an enemy Ring agent who can identify Daniel arrives, Chuck has to team up with Sarah to get the Mask... while Hannah inadvertently hinders them.

Chuck goes undercover as an assassin and Sarah worries that he might be getting too much into the part. Meanwhile, Chuck volunteers to make dinner for Ellie, Awesome, and Hannah as part of an introductory meal for his new girlfriend, Sarah and Shaw draw closer, and Awesome worries about having to lie to Ellie.

When Chuck is unable to flash, Shaw takes him off of the mission team as they go to find a Ring agent. However, when buyers come to inspect the Buy More, Chuck discovers something more is going on while dealing with the fact that Morgan has fired him as his best friend.

Casey's former commanding officer blackmails him into committing treason and stealing a top-secret drug from the CIA vault. Sarah and Chuck refuse to believe he's guilty and disobey orders to come to his aid. Meanwhile, Awesome tries to get Ellie out of harm's way, and Morgan has his first mission.

Shaw and Sarah send Chuck on a final mission to determine if he's qualified to be a full-fledged spy, or if he's to return to his civilian life. Meanwhile, Casey tries to adopt to civilian life with some help from Big Mike.

For his first mission as a spy, Chuck is told to assemble his own team to go undercover in Rome. He wants Sarah, but Sarah doesn't want him since she believes he murdered a man. Awesome, Casey, and Morgan vow to help them get together. Meanwhile, Shaw learns the identity of his wife's killer.

Chuck (s03e13). Season 3, Episode 13 - Air Date: 04/05/2010
Sarah learns that Shaw knows about her murder of his wife, but he insists that she's been manipulated and they team up to capture the Ring Director. Chuck isn't convinced of Shaw's sincerity and Beckman removes Chuck from the team because of his emotional issues. Meanwhile, Morgan is ready to quit the Buy More and become a member of Chuck's team.

When Sarah and Chuck go AWOL to run off for a life together, Beckman sends Casey and Morgan to retrieve them. Meanwhile, Ellie and Devon throw their going away party, and Ellie wonders if Chuck will be there in time.

Beckman has Chuck and Sarah take lessons from the Turners, a long-married CIA couple who turn out to have a few problems of their own. Meanwhile, Casey is forced to train Morgan, and Devon and Ellie take on their first assignment as Doctors Without Borders.

Chuck believes that his dreams are interacting with the Intersect to warn him that a visiting head of state is targeted for assassination. When Beckman assigns him to a CIA psychiatrist, Chuck has to go rogue with Morgan to stop the killer. Meanwhile, Anna Wu returns to talk to Morgan, and a CIA agent asks Ellie to help locate her father.

Ellie is tricked into calling her father Steve back home. Meanwhile, Chuck and Sarah try to determine if Shaw is still alive, Jeff and Lester break up the band, and Casey suspects that Ellie is cheating on Devon.

Chuck, Sarah, and Casey hunt down Ellie and Shaw... only to discover that Shaw is a working CIA operative, and has had Chuck declared insane because of the Intersect. When the CIA turns against the team, they must go rogue to save themselves and their families.
